How Much Does A Private Investigator Cost?

The cost for your case depends upon the type of services involved. Our primary expertise is in cheating spouse (infidelity) investigations, and specifically surveillance. Hourly rates vary based on your location and case needs. Normally $90 – $125/ hr. Typically we will recommend you purchase a block of hours appropriate for your objectives and specific circumstances. We may apply a discount off of our normal hourly rates for blocks of surveillance investigation hours and/or weeks of GPS tracking purchased in advance. So, to clarify, if your case is an infidelity investigation it will most often involve two types of private investigator fees: Hourly rates (surveillance), and GPS tracking (weekly). Dependent upon your case we may also charge a mileage rate of up to $.59 per mile for your investigators travel. Background and locate investigations are priced at a flat fee, ranging from $250-$500 based on the specific objectives you have and the complexity of the searches involved.
